Hi Richard,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm wishing on a star that your question means you have a magical Walt Disney World Resort adventure up your sleeve!
While it's
possible to purchase
theme park tickets at the gate, I wouldn't recommend it. At this point in the phased reopening,
Disney Park Pass reservations are required in addition to valid tickets for admission into the theme parks, and that seems like too big of a gamble to me to venture all the way to central Florida in hopes that reservations will still be
available! I'd encourage you to buy your tickets and make your reservations as soon as you know when you'll be visiting. Your place in the parks will be guaranteed, and you'll be able to rest assured that your Disney dreams can come true!
If you haven't yet downloaded the handy dandy
My Disney Experience mobile app, I'd encourage you to do so. Not only can you purchase theme park tickets and make your Disney Park Pass reservations through it, but you'll also be able to use it to check park hours, find current wait times for the attractions,
mobile order some delicious bites and beverages, and much, much more! It's truly like having magic at your fingertips!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Richard, and please come see us any time you have a Disney-planning question or would like advice about any aspect of your trip. I hope you enjoy a truly magical vacation sometime soon!
Missy
