    Do you have to purchase tickets to get into the Disney Downtown area??

    Not at all!  The shops and restaurantsin Downtown Disney will all be open for you to enjoy, costing only what you choose to spend inside.  The only exceptions would be the Cirque Du Soleil show and DIsneyQuest, both of which do require a ticket for admission.
