We want to purchase tickets to the Christmas party, but we are not really midnight people... is the parade and fireworks earlier in the evening and then time to do attractions or are they at the end of the night? We will be ready for bed by 9ish!

    Mandy,

    Thanks for your question!

Our family are not midnight people either, so I get it. But while the schedule may challenge your 9 pm bedtime, I think you can pull off the parade and the fireworks off without messing up your daily schedule too much, or at least the parade.

The timing of the different entertainment options at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party can vary on different days, but typically the fireworks show is held around 10 pm. At the party they will host a variation on the current fireworks show, like the Happily Ever After show, and it is typically worth staying up a bit later than usual to see the spectacle.

The parade typically runs twice, usually at 8:30 pm and 11:00 pm. So it is well within your plans to watch the early parade, then the fireworks, then off to bed!

To your question, if you really want to stay close to an earlier bedtime, I would get your attraction riding
done before finalizing your evening with the fantastic duo of a parade and fireworks. Do be aware that the crowd leaving the park after the fireworks can be sizable, so if you really want to get to your room before 11 pm, you may want to let the parade be the end to your evening, thus beating the worst of the crowd out of the park.

Write me back if you have any other questions!
