Hello Mellisa!
The
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, presented by Corkcicle is a fan-favorite event! You can stroll, sip, and savor your way around World Showcase at more than 30 Global Marketplaces. At each Global Marketplace, you’ll find small plates, drinks, and treats available for purchase.
The best news is, there is no additional fee to visit the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, it is included with your admission to Epcot! Then it’s up to you which menu items you wish to purchase.
My favorite item on our visit last month was The Corned Beef Corner Route at the Flavors from Fire Marketplace, hosted by The NFL on ESPN. This delectable dish features smoked corned beef with crispy potatoes, cheese curds, pickled onions, and beer-cheese fondue, and it was oh so good! This item is also part of
Emile’s Fromage Montage, a “cheese walk” at the Festival where after trying 5 of the featured items, you receive a special bonus treat at the end. I won’t ruin the surprise on the bonus treat, but it was yummy!
The Festival also features fun
live entertainment and
special merchandise. If you have little ones in your group, or maybe just those who are young at heart, you can add a little extra fun to your trip around the world with
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt! Search for Remy the rat at each of the World Showcase Pavilions just for fun, or purchase a map to receive a prize at the end!
I recommend
checking out the menus before you go, so you can narrow down which things you want to try. We usually don’t make an Advanced Dining Reservation on the days we visit the Festival as we plan to “eat around the world!” There is so much to enjoy so bring your appetite and comfy walking shoes to make the most of your day!
If you'd like to visit more than one park in a single day, you'll need a ticket with the
Park Hopper Option. Make a
Disney Park Pass Reservation for the theme park you plan to visit first. You must actually go to that park, then you can hop to another park after 2 PM! There is no need to make reservation at the other parks. As long as you have entered the park you have a Park Pass Reservation for first, and there is still capacity at the other parks, Guests with Park Hopper Passes will be allowed to enter the other theme parks. To date, Guests have not been turned away from Park Hopping due to capacity issues. I hope this helps with your planning, Mellisa! Enjoy the Festival!
Bon Appétit!
