Rachel,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
The
Early Theme Park entry perk is based simply on staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. It is not reliant upon purchasing your theme park tickets from a particular source, or in a particular format. So if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, or one of the affiliated resorts on the approved list, you are able to take advantage of that early park entry benefit, while it is active.
As a guest of
Disney's Pop Century Resort last week, I was able to take advantage of this fantastic benefit. Even when I entered the park just minutes ahead of the rest of the normal park crowd, it gave me the opportunity to jump onto my first attraction of the day with almost no line at all. As you can imagine, getting onto
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance with a wait of less than 30 minutes was a fantastic way to start my adventures that day!
When you arrive at the park, you will see signs that direct you to where to enter as a resort guest. They confirm your resort stay by simply scanning your
MagicBand, MagicBand+, or other ticket media and you are on your way!
Please feel free to
write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
