If I purchase theme park tickets through work, can I link them to a reservation to allow me to purchase the dining plan?

    Hi Diane,

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel and bringing us a great question about the Disney Dining Plans!

The Disney Dining Plans sure makes mealtime simple! Being able to track your remaining entitlements right on your phone with the My Disney Experience app means you'll never again have to wonder how many more Mickey pretzels you can purchase before you run out of credits! At this time, however, the Disney Dining Plans may only be purchased as part of a Magic Your Way package that also includes a Disney Resort hotel room and theme park tickets. If you decide to purchase your tickets elsewhere but would still like a way to track your mealtime spending, I'd suggest purchasing Disney Gift Cards and using those to pay for your meals.

Regardless of how you choose to pay for your meals, don't forget that all dining reservations may be made 180 days in advance! If you have a Disney Resort hotel reservation linked to your account, you'll be able to make reservations for the entire length of your trip, up to 10 days, at that 180-day point, which is a great perk and will make it easier to score that perfect dining reservation for your trip!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your visit, Diane, as we're always happy to help! I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
