Hey there, Aldo!
Thank you for bringing your question to us here at planDisney and how very thoughtful of you to think about giving the
gift of Disney to another! I'm sure they will be over the moon thrilled once they receive it!
I did a little digging regarding your situation because it states in the
Disneyland Ticket FAQ that there is an option to mark "This item is a gift" on Express Checkout when purchasing tickets. However, I had a chat with a Cast Member who stated that this used to be an option but it is no longer offered. The good news is that this does not really affect anything and you can still move forward with your transaction. Pick an arbitrary date for the reservation as this is not set in stone. If you are purchasing a one-day ticket, please pay attention to the
Tier level of the ticket you are gifting. At Checkout, enter the recipient's name under "Who will use the tickets" and their email address for contact information. Once the ticket is delivered, your gift recipient can change their reservation date (depending on Tier level for one-day tickets) as desired under their Disney account.
An alternative might be to consider giving the gift of a
Disney gift card! I love the freedom of gift cards, as they allow me to purchase theme park tickets, souvenirs, and dining at the Parks. When I take my kids to the Disneyland Resort, I simply give them a gift card as their "allowance" on that trip and they love the autonomy it provides!
Aldo, I hope you are to use this information and please do not hesitate to contact us again here at
planDisney!
We'll see ya real soon!
