EPCOT is actually my favorite park, so I’m always excited to hear when someone has plans to visit. There’s always something new to see, do, and enjoy, and I’m sure you’re going to have a wonderful time exploring all that EPCOT has to offer!
At this time,
date-based theme park tickets do not require a theme park reservation, so you’ll just need to select the date you’d like to visit when purchasing your tickets, and you’ll be all set! One thing I would recommend doing ahead of time is making sure you both have your own My Disney Experience accounts and that you’re
connected through your Family & Friends List. This will make managing your plans together much easier once you arrive.
To get connected, head to the
Walt Disney World website and visit “My Family & Friends.” From there, select “Add a Guest.” You can search for the other adult using their name and telephone number or email address. If your wife doesn’t have a My Disney Experience account, select “Create a New Guest,” and follow the prompts. Once this is complete, they’ll receive an email invitation to connect with you. After they accept, you’ll appear on each other’s Family & Friends Lists, and you’ll be able to make and manage plans together!
The timing of your visit to EPCOT couldn’t be more perfect because the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing! This is such a fun time to visit EPCOT with Global Marketplaces offering delicious bites and beverages inspired by flavors from around the world. I’d definitely recommend giving yourself plenty of time to wander around World Showcase and sample some of the festival offerings. Be sure to check the
festival details and menus before your visit so you can make a little wish list of the foods you don’t want to miss!
