Hello, Janine, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited your daughter is visiting soon. My son is in his 20s and living far away, too, so I savor every second we're together. Spending time at the
Most Magical Place on Earth makes the time even sweeter. Let's look at purchasing Florida resident tickets for your upcoming visit.
As a fellow Floridian, I've taken advantage of various
Special Offers on admission and Disney Resort hotels over the years. One of my favorite purchases has been the
Disney Pixie Dust Pass. This pass is a fantastic deal, especially if you visit Orlando several times a year like I do. However, the Florida-resident tickets are a great value, and I've bought them many times, too.
All guests over 18 are required to show
proof of Florida residency to activate resident-exclusive theme park tickets. You've probably done this online or at
Guest Relations for yourself, so if your daughter is 18 or older, she must provide the same proof. If she's younger and still your dependent, you will show your ID on her behalf. You can also call the
New Tickets line for details about your options.
Your daughter might enjoy sampling the offerings at the
Spain Marketplace at this year's
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. The booth is near the Germany Pavilion, and the Paella Negra is a real standout. Deliciosa! Many Cast Members at the booths and pavilions around the World Showcase hail from their respective countries, so maybe she'll make some new friends from Spain. It's a small world, after all!
Janine, I hope you secure admission to the magic so your family can make magical memories. Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
