Hi there, Victoria!
The best way to prevent "post-cruise blues" is to have another cruise booked before you leave the ship! I'm so glad you're already planning your next adventure and I'm happy to help!
Commonly known as a "placeholder" cruise, the
Disney Cruise Line Onboard Booking Offer is a great deal! By booking a future cruise while you're sailing you can save 10% off the prevailing rate on the website and your deposit is also reduced for cruises of 7 nights or more. The offer does have dates where it isn't valid, mostly around holiday periods.
You can use the list on the website to make sure the cruise you're considering isn't blocked. When I search for
4-night cruises on the Disney Wish I see over 90 sailings at the moment! That means that there are plenty of options for you to book that next cruise. You can
book your placeholder sailing using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once you are on the ship, it's super easy!
Once you pay the deposit you have up to 24 months to sail, so you might choose a cruise that isn't even announced yet. Kind of exciting, right? We already know a lot about two other ships on the horizon:
Disney Treasure is coming in 2024 and
Disney Destiny in 2025. Maybe you use a placeholder to sail on the Disney Wish and then grab another placeholder for a future cruise on a new ship...I know that's what I would want to do!
Enjoy your upcoming cruise, Victoria! I hope you'll be charting a course for another trip soon.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
