How do I purchase2 one day park hopper tickets to give as a company gift? I want the recipient to be able to make a reservation when they decide to go rather then selecting the date for them and ruining the surprise?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Lisa. We're so glad you stopped by to share this question with us. There's nothing better than the gift of a magical day at the Disneyland Resort. This will be an amazing surprise for the lucky recipient.

You can purchase tickets as a gift by visiting the Disneyland website and moving through the process to purchase tickets. You can fill in the recipient's name and if you want the tickets to be a surprise, you can enter your email address and then forward the email with the tickets to the recipient when you are ready. While you must select visit dates at the time of purchase, these can always be canceled and changed for whatever dates work for the recipient later on.

Keep in mind that 1-day tickets are offered at tiered pricing and there may be a difference in price that your recipient will be responsible for if they choose to visit on a day that is a higher tier than purchased. You can see the ticket tier type by clicking on a date during the purchase process. For this reason, you may want to consider gifting a Disney Gift Card instead to cover the cost of the tickets.

Lisa, I hope the information I've shared is helpful as you are preparing for this magical surprise. Come back to visit us if you have any other questions.

    Have a magical day!
