If I purchase a multi-day ticket with the water parks option added, can I upgrade that ticket during our trip to a DVC Gold Pass (the Gold pass doesn't have the water park option included and I'm getting mixed signals about this...) Thank you!

    Hi Michael!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are coming to visit us at such an exciting time! From the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, to the debut of Disney Skyliner, to my favorite Disney event - Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, I can't think of a better time to visit!

You are super smart to purchase a ticket with water park options for September. Florida has fantastic weather in the Fall, and you will have a great time splashing in the sun. The great news is that any valid ticket can be applied to a Disney Gold Pass. You can upgrade in person or via the My Disney Experience app. As long as the pass has not expired, before you leave Walt Disney World, bring it to any Theme Park ticket window or Guest Relations location. Make sure to have your Disney Vacation Club membership card and picture ID with you. There they will apply the price you paid for the original ticket to the cost of your new Disney Gold Pass. If you prefer to use the app, don't forget to link your tickets by tapping "My Tickets."

You've made such a smart decision with this pass. It is exclusive to Disney Vacation Club members and Florida Residents, so you are amongst a select few who get to enjoy the VIP benefits. You will be able to park hop on the same day, enjoy Disney PhotoPass downloads and have access to exclusive offers and discounts with Disney Resort hotels, dining, merchandise and more!

If you have any other questions regarding the upgrade, don't hesitate to call (407) WDW-PASS or (407) 939-7277. There is also an Annual Passholder Help Form that you can use to email the dedicated annual pass Help Team.

    chEARs!
