If I purchase a memory maker do I have to be present when every photo is taken? If the Disney photo people take a picture of my husband and boys how does while I am with my daughter someplace else how does those pictures get linked to my account?

    Hi Jennifer,

I see your Walt Disney World vacation is right around the corner, I am sure you and your family are counting down the days and I am happy to help you with your question about the Memory Maker so you better understand it before you arrive.

Upon arrival, If you have not already done so, link your Memory Maker to your Disney account. You do this by signing into the Walt Disney World website. Head over to My Disney Experience and follow the prompt to linking your Memory Maker to either you MagicBand or Park Admission Card.

If you and your family are separated and see a magical picture moment and a PhotoPass Cast Member near by, simply have your photo taken and he/she will scan the picture onto their MagicBand, Park Admission Card, or they can request a PhotoPass card, that you don't want to lose, and later can link your photos to your Disney account after you arrive home.

Now, here's the important thing to know, attraction photos can only be linked to your Disney account if Memory Maker has been "assigned" to you. This means the person who purchased the Memory Maker is the keeper and so the Memory Maker card and your MagicBand or Park Admission ticket is the only one that can have all the attraction photos linked to it. If you are not there at the time of the ride be sure someone in your party  either has the Memory Maker card or writes down the picture number from the attraction, you then can return to the attraction's Sales Center, I believe within twenty-four hours,  and they can add the photos to your account.

I hope this helps and be sure to smile and say, "MICKEY!" at every possible magical picture moment. If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to let me know.
