Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer! We are glad you stopped by with your question.
Memory Maker is a great way to be able to download all your
Disney PhotoPass photos for one price. You are welcome to purchase Memory Maker before, during, or after your vacation -- just make sure you download your photos before they expire, 45 days after the date on which they were captured. Keep in mind that you won't be able to buy Memory Maker at the Advance Purchase price. With the Advance Purchase option, only photos captured more than 3 days after the date of purchase will be included.
My advice would be to stop for as many photos as you can wherever you see a Disney PhotoPass photographer. There is no cost to have your photo taken. You can even see a map of Disney PhotoPass locations in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. (Click on the location button at the bottom of the screen and then use the drop-down menu at the top to select PhotoPass.) That way you will have lots of photos to choose from when deciding if purchasing Memory Maker is your best option.
I also prefer to view all my photos at once on my computer at home rather than on my phone during my vacation. One option you may be interested in is
Memory Maker One Day, which includes all photos captured on the date of your choice. Check out
this Disney Parks Blog article with more great information about how Memory Maker works. If you find you only have a few photos you would like to download, consider adding your photo(s) to the
Cinderella Castle Mural of Memories. Your purchase price includes a download of your photo, and actually costs less than purchasing regular individual photo downloads.
Jennifer, I am wishing you a wonderful vacation, and hope you return home with a heart full of magical memories. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to
ask planDisney. We are always happy to help.
