I want to purchase memory maker for one day. We are coming the 13th. If I purchase it now will it be activated the day the tickets are for? Or would it think it's for today?

Say, "Cheese," and smile for the camera, Kalley! Walt Disney World Resort is waiting to capture your heart and your photos! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for this picture-perfect question. Since your visit is coming up in a "flash," let's talk about Memory Maker One Day.

Memory Maker is a Disney PhotoPass product that offers unlimited digital downloads of the images captured by Disney photographers and on select attractions. It's a fantastic way to preserve your magical moments. You can purchase Memory Maker for your entire trip or opt for Memory Maker One Day. This option allows you to download all images taken on one day of your trip, perfect for capturing the highlights of your visit.

I chatted with a photogenic Cast Member for details on how the one-day option will work. She said you can make the purchase today, but it won't be activated until you elect to do so in your account.

For example, if you spend three days in the theme parks, you could wait until you get home to look at your Photo Gallery from the trip. You might decide that the pictures from your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park are the best, so you'll select any image from that day. You should get a message asking if you want to activate Memory Maker, so follow the prompts. Once activated, the watermarks will be removed from all the photos taken that day.

If you know you want to activate Memory Maker for a specific day, you can do so after the first photo is taken that day. From then on, your images should be watermark-free and ready to download and share for up to 45 days. If you need help or have questions, please call the Disney PhotoPass line.

Disney PhotoPass photographers typically wear bright green shirts and can be found scattered throughout all four theme parks. You can also see photo spots in your mobile app by tapping the location icon at the bottom and selecting PhotoPass from the dropdown menu above the map. One of my favorite picture locales is near the waterfall in Pandora - The World of Avatar, at Animal Kingdom. The lighting is always perfect there, day or night. Sivako!

Kalley, I wish you safe travels and a trip full of memories. Get ready for your close-up! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
