    I would like to purchase a Memory Maker in advance as a gift for someone...is that an option? If so, how do I do it?

    Disney's Memory Maker package is a wonderful way for families to capture many special moments on a Walt Disney World vacation, like sharing a hug with Mickey and friends, zipping down Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and standing tall in front of the Tree of Life. I am pleased to share that you will be able to purchase Memory Maker in advance as a gift, but there are a few things to keep in mind before you get started.

    First, when you purchase Memory Maker online, it may automatically link to your own Disney account. The Memory Maker card that you should receive by mail may be linked to your account, as well. To ensure that your friend is able to enjoy the Memory Maker benefits, you may need to reassign the Memory Maker entitlement in advance of his/her vacation.

    This is a fairly simple process, but you will first need to be connected to your friend through the Family & Friends list on your Disney account. After you are connected, simply locate the Memory Maker entitlement in the "My Reservations" section of My Disney Experience, and select the "Reassign" link.

    Please also keep in mind that your friends may wish to bring the Memory Maker card along on their Walt Disney World vacation, so make sure to pass it on. This is especially helpful if your friends plan to travel without MagicBands or need further assistance with the Memory Maker entitlement at the theme parks.

    Alternatively, you could purchase Disney gift cards for your friend and allow him/her to arrange the Memory Maker entitlement purchase. This could help you all to save some time and effort.
