    I want to purchase magic bracelets plus for our December 2022 vacation

    Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

    I was also excited to finally see the release of the new MagicBand+! I have a trip in November, and I immediately purchased my MagicBand+ for the trip. To be honest, I had a hard time deciding what style to purchase, but in the end the Disney Dad one just called to me!

    While you can go straight to ShopDisney.com to purchase them now, if you already have your December 2022 vacation booked, you can actually purchase your MagicBand+ choices directly from your  My Disney Experience account at a discount.

    How?

    1. When you are on the Walt Disney World website, hover over the "My Disney Experience" menu item on the far right.
    2. From there, if you click on the "My Magic Bands and Cards" option, you will be directed to your area for ordering the bands. I was able to do so right away. 

    The discounts and styles may change over time, so I cannot tell you exactly what you are going to pay. But I did feel like the variety of band choices was already very good, even though the release was just a few days ago (from the time of this answer). 

    BONUS TIP
    While I was a big fan of so many of the features offered by the last version of the MagicBand, these new bands are really adding even more great experiences. You don't lose any of those existing capabilities, like Mobile Online Ordering, and you get all the interactivity in the parks. I strongly recommend that prior to your visit you check on the MagicBand+ section on your My Disney Experience App on your smartphone. It spells out how to get everything synchronized, how to manage multiple bands, how to customize your band, and some of the fun things you will be able to do with the bands while in the parks.
