Ho-ho-ho, Marjorie! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so excited you'll be attending
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this week. The weather here has been crisp in the evenings, so bring along that holiday sweatshirt for a festive vibe! Your family will have the most magical time during this visit; a little elf told me so!
I chatted with a holly-jolly Cast Member who said
Lightning Lane passes are unavailable for purchase during after-hours events like Christmas parties. The good news is that waits are typically lower during the parties, so I don't think you'll miss those passes at all!
If you have regular theme park admission that day, you can purchase Lightning Lane passes and schedule return times until the park closes to day guests. The Cast Member said that if Magic Kingdom Park
closes at 6:00 PM, the last Lightning Lane return window is typically around 5:55 PM.
Did you know guests with only a party ticket can enter Magic Kingdom
as early as 4:00 PM? My pals and I were at the entrance at 3:30 PM for a party last year and were allowed to enter a few minutes before 4:00 PM. We grabbed a light meal at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café, blasted off on Space Mountain, and even rode the PeopleMover before the party officially started. That's what I call getting more pixie dust for your dollar!
Marjorie, I hope you have a magical time this week. Thanks again for allowing
planDisney to help you plan your holiday vacation. Happy holidays!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
