How do we purchase jump in line tickets at DisneyWorld?

    Hi Danielle!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!

To skip the standby queue and get to the attractions quicker, you can purchase Lightning Lane services.

To purchase these services, you will use your My Disney Experience app. Once your booking window opens, you’ll click the Purchase button under the Lightning Lane Multi Pass/Single Pass section or Lightning Lane Premier Pass section (depending on which service you’re planning to purchase) on the homepage of the app. From there, you’ll follow the prompts to choose your park day, type of pass, and who you’ll be purchasing the pass for.

If you choose to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and/or Single Pass, you’ll choose your return times for the attractions of your choice (pending availability), then you’ll officially purchase the pass. You will not need to choose any return times for attractions if you purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

Each park day will be a separate transaction. So, you’ll repeat the process as needed until you’ve purchased passes for every park day you’d like to.

Lightning Lane services are subject to availability, so I recommend purchasing your passes as soon as your booking window opens. If you’re staying at a Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your resort check-in date. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket if you have a date-based ticket.

Before your booking window opens, make sure your tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account, and if your ticket type requires them, have your park reservations booked. In addition to that, make sure you’re linked to your whole travel party via the Family & Friends List. Taking these steps ahead of time will help everything go much more smoothly.

I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions leading up to your trip!
