Hi Zach!
You’ve got a friend in me, if you need any more! What a wonderful and generous thing to want to do for someone. There are a few ways I would go about this, so let’s chat about them.
First, if this wasn’t a complete surprise, and you knew the exact dates your friend wished to travel, you can
make reservations in your friend’s name and pay for it with your credit card. You could then present them with their reservation number and they could link that number to their
My Disney Experience Account. If you are already linked as friends in My Disney Experience you can even select them from your Family & Friends list when you make the reservation and it will be auto
magically linked to them!
If you are unsure of what dates they will be traveling, or where your friend wants to stay, an alternate idea would be to purchase
Disney Gift Cards that they could use to pay for their stay. You can purchase Disney Gift Cards online, or from many local retailers. Pro Tip: If you have a Target Red Card, you can purchase Disney Gift Cards and get the Target 5% off! Sometimes Sam’s Club also has them offered at a discount. Disney Gift Cards can be combined online up to a value of $1,000. You could gift these to your friend to use toward the Disney Resort Collection Hotel stay.
I hope one of these ideas will work for your plans, Zach. Please let us know if you have any additional questions we can help with!
