If I purchase an event ticket for mickeys not so scary Halloween party, Do I still need a separate park ticket ??

    Boo to you, Troy!

I’m wickedly delighted to welcome you to planDisney, and I’m so glad you’ve brought your question our way! How delightfully dreadful that you’ll be attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It’s such a frightfully fun evening, filled with happy haunts, ghostly surprises, plenty of treats, and just a few tricks along the way. I have a feeling you’re in for a hauntingly good time!

With your Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket, you can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. If you’d like to enter the park before then, you’ll need a regular theme park ticket in addition to your party ticket.

Once you’re ready to start your spooky evening, I recommend arriving right at 4:00 p.m. so you can make the most of your party night. You’ll be able to pick up your wristband and trick-or-treat bag, then enjoy several hours in Magic Kingdom before the party officially begins at 7:00 p.m.

Those pre-party hours are a great time to knock out a few attractions, leaving the official party hours open for all the special entertainment and experiences you won’t find during a regular park day. And there are definitely a few that I wouldn’t want you to miss! The Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is at the top of my list and happens to be my favorite parade at Walt Disney World. I’d also make time for the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. Those Sanderson Sisters certainly know how to throw a party!

To help map out your evening, take a look at the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Event Guide in your My Disney Experience app. You can find it by using the search icon. The guide is a great resource for checking treat locations, entertainment times, character meet-and-greet locations, specialty treats, and other party offerings.

Troy, I hope this helps as you prepare for your (not-so) spooky evening! If any other questions materialize along the way, don’t hesitate to come drifting back to planDisney. We’re always dead set on helping!
