Hi April, and welcome to planDisney! I totally understand your craving because ever since my fellow panelists,
Cody B. and
McCayla B., introduced me to churro toffee, I’ve been obsessed! It also makes such a great Disney snack to take home since they’re small and stay fresh for a long time. But it’s a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer when your post-Disney snacks run out! So, let’s talk about how you can keep the magic going at home.
Unfortunately, Disneyland doesn’t sell its delicious toffee online, but you can find the recipe in the cookbook, Delicious Disney: Disneyland: Recipes & Stories from The Happiest Place on Earth. I’ve also seen several different copycat recipes online that were created by Disney fans. I hope this holds you over until your next visit to Disneyland!
I also thought I’d share a couple of things I like to do at home to sprinkle a bit of Disney magic when I can’t be in the theme parks. In the
Play Disney Parks app, there’s an At Home Fun section where you can find trivia and games. There’s even a new Disneyland Anniversary trivia challenge that was recently added!
In addition to the
Disney Parks YouTube channel, where you can find planDisney’s content, I love
Walt Disney Imagineering’s channel for a peek into how our favorite attractions and entertainment were created.
A new episode of We Call it Imagineering was just released today that talks about the role of color in
World of Color Happiness! for
Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary, and previews some of the entertainment over at Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disney World!
I hope you’re able to satisfy your toffee craving soon, by making your own at home or heading back to Disneyland! And if you have any other questions, you always have a friend in me at planDisney.
