Hi there, Kelly, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm glad that you're thinking ahead for your visit to the
Disneyland Resort next year! It's never too early to begin planning your visit and we're definitely here to help. In fact, I've seen some pretty nifty countdown calendars that can help increase the excitement and anticipation of your upcoming trip!
To answer your question, you may absolutely purchase
tickets now even though you aren't planning on visiting until February of next year! I know many people who do just that so they benefit from current ticket prices before a price increase occurs.
Reservations are typically released on a rolling basis 120 days in advance and February is currently outside that window, so you'll have to pick an arbitrary date during the ticket purchasing process, but you can easily go in later and modify those reservations when your desired dates open up. And if you did purchase tickets today, don't worry about your ticket expiring because a One-day ticket won't expire until December 20, 2024. A Multi-day ticket won't expire until January 12, 2025 or 13 days after first use, whichever comes first.
We don't yet know what will be happening at the Parks over your visit, but I would recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog for any news as your visit approaches. And check the
Disneyland Resort Daily Schedule about 1-2 months before your trip to get a precise schedule on entertainment and activities. Don't forget that you'll be able to make
dining reservations 60 days before you arrive!
Kelly, I hope that this was helpful for you and that you have a wonderful and magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth! If there is anything else that you need from us, please don't hesitate to contact us again because you're always welcome at planDisney! Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
