Purchasing tickets is one of my favorite parts of planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation because it makes it finally feel real! When you
purchase your tickets online, at checkout, you will be given the chance to choose a "Delivery Method" for your tickets. The options are U.S. Domestic Standard, U.S. Domestic Express, International Express, and Email. If you choose one of the "snail mail" options, your tickets (cards) will come to you in the mail either via the U.S. Postal Service or UPS.
If you choose the "Email" option, you will receive a confirmation receipt via email for your ticket purchase. When you arrive at the park, you will need to show them the card you used to purchase the tickets along with a photo ID and your confirmation email. This email will contain a barcode that a Cast Member will scan. The Cast Member will then be able to give you your tickets (cards) so that you can enter the park. If everyone in your party has a
MagicBand liked to his or her account, you can skip these steps and go straight to the park entrance since you attach the tickets to each person's account at checkout. Simply touch each MagicBand to the turnstile to enter the park!
In either case, the directions for how to obtain your tickets will also be in your confirmation email. Remember, special tickets like Military Tickets, Florida Resident Tickets, and other special offer tickets may require a stop by a ticketing window before entering the park. If you get to the parks and are not sure what to do or where to go, just ask any Cast Member. They are always ready to help!
