I want to purchase Disney tickets individually. We aren't sure when we will plan the trip but will once we are able to get the tickets first since they are our biggest expense. Is it possible and could we then get the dining plan/resort stay at that time?

    Hi Allison,

I love that you are already planning on your trip to Walt Disney World!

When you buy your tickets separate from your room, you lose the ability to add the Disney Dining Plan to those tickets. The Disney Dining Plan uses your ticket to track your dining credits. This is why your tickets need to be purchased with your room to create a package.

If you were to purchase your tickets ahead of time and then discover free dining is being offered, you would not be able to take advantage of it.

This is why I recommend saving up the money for your vacation and then look for vacation deals. You can follow Disney on social media as well as Mousesavers.com or AllEarsNet.com for deals.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
