Can I purchase my Disney resort and tickets through another travel agency and still add on the dining plan through Disney later? I have a relative who works for this travel agency and can get me a great discount but I can't get the dining plan with her.

    Hi Elizabeth!

You must purchase all three components of the package: room, dining plan and park tickets to qualify for the Disney Dining Plan. You can't purchase the park tickets from an authorized reseller or other vendor. I'm unsure why you're not able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) through the travel agency at the time of booking, so I'm not able to determine if you can add the DDP at a later date. Typically, yes, you can add the DDP after you've purchased your Magic Your Way Package, but if must be at least 48 hours in advance of your first day. You can't add it once you arrive. If your package qualifies as a Magic Your Way Package and your tickets are not through a reseller or other vendor, then you should be able to add the DDP. I recommend that you call 407-WDW-MAGIC to provide them with the specifics of your package to obtain to understand if you can add DDP.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
