Hi Ryan,
I regularly purchase my Disney Resort hotel reservations first and then buy tickets later. As long as you link them to your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to utilize
Early Theme Park Entry once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.
Early Theme Park Entry is a fabulous way to see and experience even more at Disney World. I especially love using it on days when I visit
Magic Kingdom. There is so much to do there that I can never fit it all into one day. Getting that extra bit of time equates to at least 1 or 2 more rides! I like to head to the left once I pass through Main Street USA and go straight to Adventureland. There I hop on Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, and grab a snack all while most people are still waiting in line for one of the harder-to-get-on rides.
When you book your Disney World resort stay make sure that you are logged into your
My Disney Experience account or if you already have a resort reservation make sure that you link it to your account. To link hotel, ticket or dining reservations simply click the hamburger icon at the bottom right of your app. Scroll down and choose "Hotel Reservations" then enter your ticket ID Number, Resort Reservation confirmation number, or Dining Reservation confirmation number to add any of these items to your account. Once everything is present in your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to seamlessly utilize all of the perks you get for staying at a Disney resort hotel.
Happy Planning
Jenna
