Howdy fellow Texan, Sherry!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m glad you stopped by with your question.
I completely understand you wanting to add a
Disney Dining Plan to your reservation. I like to plan my entire
Walt Disney World Resort vacations around all the delectable cuisine I’m going to eat, and paying for our family’s meals upfront truly takes the hassle out of the vacation.
The Dining Package is only available for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World owned and operated resort. Unfortunately, the Dining Package cannot be added to a Shades of Green reservation. Dining Packages are directly attached to the
Resort hotel reservation so currently, there is not an option to only get a Disney Dining Plan without staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts. I do know that Shades of Green sometimes offers packages with meal plans that include breakfast or dinner, and I would check with them to see what kind of offers they have available.
Sherry, did you know that Walt Disney World Resort offers U.S. Military Members special rates on
Theme Park Tickets and select Walt Disney World
Resort hotels? If the Disney Dining Plan is something that really appeals to your party, perhaps check the special rates offered so you can add a Dining Package to it! Either way, wherever you stay, you're sure to have an amazing time with your fill of tasty treats!--Most of them hopefully being Mickey shaped!
We thank you and your family for your service. I hope you have the most magical vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth, Sherry!
