    Can you purchase the Disney dining if you are not staying in Disney? We are staying at the Silver Lake Resort and was wondering if we could purchase the dinning plan?? Thanks you..

    Hi Kim! The Disney Dining Plan is available only as part of a vacation package that includes a stay at a Disney resort hotel and park tickets purchased from Disney. Thus, you unfortunately won't be able to purchase the Dining Plan since you're staying at a non-Disney resort. 

    If you're trying to minimize your food spending during your Disney visit, there are several things you can do to cut your costs. Bring your own bottled water and snacks to the parks with you. Take advantage of the quick-service restaurants which offer hearty meals at lower prices than the table-service ones. Consider eating your big sit-down meal at lunch instead of dinner, when the prices are often cheaper. Portion sizes are large, so consider sharing meals.
