When you purchase a Disney cruise is the food cost on the ships dinning areas included? Or do we have to pay for meals on and off the ship?

    Welcome aboard, Tasha!

I'm so excited for you to begin researching everything that is included in a Disney Cruise Line vacation!

All of your meals are included in the cost of your cruise. Each night, you'll rotate through the three main restaurants onboard, and with Disney's Rotational Dining, even your dining service team rotates with you. So, you'll keep the same dining servers each night, no matter which restaurant you're enjoying. They get to know you and your preferences and you get to know them. That is a favorite part of cruising with Disney for my kids. Our dining servers challenge my kids to jokes, puzzles, magic tricks and fun stories each evening! Additional options carrying an extra cost are available as well, such as Adult Exclusive Dining.

Lunches and breakfasts are included too, and can be enjoyed in the restaurants, at Cabanas Buffet, or even with the complimentary 24-hour Room Service. Plus, there are quick service snack and meal stands on the pool deck, so you can snack to your heart's content, Tasha!

Off the ship, at Castaway Cay, Disney's private island, lunch is included. But in other ports of call, you can purchase local fare on your own, or head back to the ship for lunch. Some Port Adventures include a meal in the cost of the adventure, and it'll be noted in the description if so. I like to try some fun local food when we explore the ports, so I hope you do too!

Have fun planning your first cruise!
