Ahoy there, Jeanette! Welcome BACK to
planDisney! It is great to see you here, asking another vacation question. This time, about
Disney Cruise Line. I love that you trust us to provide you with answers, and I am happy to offer you some guidance about gifting your son and daughter-in-law the magic of a Disney vacation.
If your son and daughter-in-law already have a
Disney Cruise Line cruise booked, you can gift them with onboard credit to be used toward their purchases, specialty dining, spa treatments, beverages, and Port Adventures during their sailing. To do so, have them select the Sail Away Gift Page located under Cruise Activities when they log in to their cruise reservation. The Sail Away Gift Page will generate a custom link they can share with you, like a gift registry. This link will allow you to add onboard credit to their existing cruise reservation.
If you would like to surprise your son and daughter-in-law with a gift in their stateroom when they set sail, visit the
Disney Cruise Line Onboard Gifts page. You can purchase cakes, fruit platters, beer, wine, keepsake items, and more! To send an onboard gift, you will need either their reservation number or their first and last name and sail date.
If your son and daughter-in-law have not yet booked a Disney cruise and you want to purchase a credit for them to use to book a magical sailing, I recommend gifting them a
Disney Gift Card. They can use the Disney Gift Card to book their sailing and for onboard expenses. You can find Disney Gift Cards at many local retailers and here at the
Disney Store online.
I hope this information helps you gift your son and daughter-in-law with the magic of a Disney cruise! If you have more questions, please bring them here to planDisney. We are happy to set sail in search of answers for you!
