    Can you purchase a dining plan if you're staying at the Shades of Green?

    Hi Wendy!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You have a fantastic stay coming up - Shades of Green is a serene Resort located in the heart of the Magic Kingdom Resort properties, so not only will you have a fantastic stay, but you also are a hop, skip, and a jump away from Magic Kingdom Park and the Transportation and Ticket Center.

    Unfortunately, since Shades of Green is not an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel, it does not participate in the Disney Dining Plan. But never fear! There are delicious dining options at the Resort, and there are dining deals for the military at both the Resort and Disney Springs. I’m sure the staff at Shades of Green will be more than happy to point you in the right direction!

    Now, for another option, Walt Disney World Resort is currently saluting active and retired members of the United States Military with fantastic discounts on select Walt Disney World Resort hotel stays booked by December 2019! They are also offering Military promotional Theme Park tickets. These include 4 and 5-Day tickets with Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus Options. So, if you choose this route, as a Walt Disney World Resort guest, you would be eligible for the Disney Dining Plan. You can add the Disney Dining Plan to your Resort reservation up to 24 hours before your arrival. Depending on the Plan you choose, each of the people on your reservation will have a combination of Quick Service and possibly Table Services meals conveniently located throughout the Parks and Resorts.
