Hello there, Angela!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Let's dig into all the dining details, so you're prepared to indulge during your visit.
If you didn't add a
dining plan when initially booking your reservation, not to worry! Guests are typically able to add the Disney Dining Plan or the Quick-Service Dining Plan to packages that include both a room reservation and theme park admission by modifying online. Since your check-in date is quickly approaching, I recommend taking care of this as soon as possible, as it will need to be completed at least a day before your arrival. Keep in mind that this will apply to all guests on your package reservation. You cannot pick and choose which members of your party will be feasting via a dining plan during your getaway.
As an Annual Passholder, I often book room-only reservations, and though I have yet to try a dining plan myself, it's my understanding that I can
contact a Cast Member on the Tickets & Reservation Team to add this to my plans. If you happened to book a room-only reservation and don't have plans to visit the parks, your resort-only reservation will likely not be eligible.
Unfortunately, I can't see the specifics of your reservation on my end, so I urge you to speak with a Cast Member by phone to determine your options. I'm hopeful you'll be on your way to a few delicious meals during your visit, with or without a dining plan add-on.
Cítricos, Narcoossee's, and Jiko - The Cooking Place are a few of my favorite
Disney Dining Plan-eligible Table Service venues, all of which are located outside the parks, while Flame Tree Barbecue and Satu'li Canteen (both located within Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park) rank at the top of my list for
Quick-Service eligible spots.
My fellow panelists and I would be happy to share even more of our favorites should you need further guidance. Angela, I hope this helps. Please come back and see us again soon!
Bon Appétit!
Amy
