    Can we purchase the dining plan if we are staying at Shades of Green, the military hotel on Disney property?

    Hi Gabi!  It's so nice to help someone from my home state of Alabama.   Thanks for asking your question at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    The Disney Dining Plan is reserved for Guests who are staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.   Unfortunately, Shades of Green is owned by the Department of Defense and not Walt Disney World so the Disney Dining Plan is not available to be added to your stay.   At certain times of the year Shades of Green does offer some meal plans that include either just breakfast or breakfast and dinner.  For more information on the packages they offer please contact Shades of Green Resort directly.  

    If you have your heart set on the Disney Dining Plan, Members of the U.S. Military get some amazing rates at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, and the Dining Plan can be added to these reservations.    I encourage you to check out the Disney Resorts available along with pricing.   It may be more affordable for your family to book directly through Disney.
