Can I purchase the dining plan if staying at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds?

    Hello Jasmin,

Welcome to planDisney! As a fellow Disney foodie, I can appreciate wanting to enjoy all the delicious snacks and meal offerings available at Walt Disney World Resort. We always try to experience a new Table Service restaurant on each visit, and we never leave without devouring a delicious Mickey-shaped Pretzel with cheese (sometimes more than once).

I know Disney Dining Plans were a very popular choice for guests, but unfortunately, they aren't available at this time. I'm not certain when we'll see them return, but be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog in the meantime for the latest updates. Resort-refillable mugs are still available for purchase and will give you access to unlimited refills of fountain drinks, coffee, and tea for up to 14 days once activated. You'll be able to pick up one of these at P & J's Southern Takeout once you arrive at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.

When I visit with my family we usually pack quick breakfast items to enjoy in our resort room alongside a cup of Joffrey's Coffee. Once we've arrived in the parks for a day of magic we make plans to enjoy a late-morning snack like a Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom Park, or the renowned Cheeseburger Spring Rolls from the cart just outside the Adventureland entrance. Both are budget-friendly options that keep our crew satisfied until an afternoon snack break or dinner. We usually like to splurge on a Table Service dinner to rest our feet after a long day in the parks and fuel us up properly for an evening of fireworks and nighttime attractions. We love Yak & Yeti Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park (don't miss the Ahi Tuna Nachos), and are excited to try the family-style meal at Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom Park on our next visit.

Pro tip: you're also welcome to bring along your own snacks as long as your bag or cooler meets the size and content requirements and doesn't contain any loose or dry ice.

I hope this helps Jasmin. I'd be happy to offer more recommendations if you'd like to reach back out to me as you prepare for your trip.

    Wishing you magic and memories,
    Amy
