if I purchase a 5 day ticket and for some reason am unable to make my trip, will the tickets ever expire if I never used them?

    Hi Amber,

One of the nice things about Disney World park tickets is that the "expiration clock" does not begin ticking until the tickets are first used. You could purchase 5-day park tickets today and they would still be valid a decade (or more) from now if you held them unused.

Once you first use the tickets, they remain valid for 14 days.

So, if you buy tickets now and can't use them, you won't be losing any of the ticket value until you're ready to head off to the parks.
