Hi Luci! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
Lightning Lane Passes are a fantastic option. My family always selects Lightning Lane so we can spend less time in queues and more time enjoying each other while in the parks. I'm happy to walk you through your choices when selecting this great add-on.
If you purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass at the time of your
ticket purchase, it applies to each day. If you'd like to experience Lightning Lane Multi Pass one day and Premier Pass another day, I'd suggest you skip purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass at the time you make your admission ticket purchase. Instead, wait to secure your limited availability Premier Pass up to two days in advance of your visit. Premier Pass is sold on a day-by-day basis, so only adding on one day isn't an issue! I hope that's good news.
Sales typically start at 7 A.M. Pacific Time and are available in the
Disneyland mobile app. Prices can fluctuate. This is a popular choice and can sell out quickly, so make a reminder on your mobile device. You don't want to miss out!
Then, I'd add Lightning Lane Multi Pass after scanning into the park on my other park day. While these passes are also subject to availability, I've added them on the day of without issue on many visits. Just be sure to scan into the parks at the start of the day, since they can sell out. Credit, debit, and
Disney Gift Card are all acceptable methods of payment, which is very convenient. Gather up those gift cards from the holidays to pay for this great option. You can also use those gift cards in the parks to pay for food and merchandise.
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
