Welcome, Karen, to planDisney, where we happily answer all of your Disney vacation planning questions. I'm excited to help you set off on an adventure worthy of the
Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A. for short), a group of explorers whose stories are woven throughout the Disney Parks in the most unexpected ways.
When you purchase a 1-day theme park ticket with the
Park Hopper Plus Option, you typically have a 2-day window to use it. On the calendar, you'll select a start date, and you’ll usually have that day and the following day to take advantage of everything included with your ticket. On one of those days, you can park hop through multiple theme parks, and on another day, you can use your admission for additional Walt Disney World experiences, including a water park. Be sure to review the details of your specific ticket during purchase to confirm your options. You might even find yourself following in the footsteps of Captain Mary Oceaneer on
Miss Adventure Falls at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
As you go through
the purchase process, you’ll be able to review all ticket details before completing payment. Start by selecting “1 day,” choose your desired visit date, then select the Park Hopper Plus Option, and finally, choose the number of tickets. When you select the Park Hopper Plus Option, you can click the “Learn More” link to see exactly what’s included. You should also review the “Important Ticket Details” section, paying special attention to the information for “1-Day Tickets with Park Hopper Plus Option.” That’s where you’ll confirm your valid usage window, something even Dr. Albert Falls, founder of the
Jungle Cruise, would appreciate when planning an expedition.
Since you're visiting in August 2026, it’s exciting to note that both water parks are expected to be open during your stay! That doesn’t always happen, so it’s a great bonus. You’ll be able to choose between Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. So far, I’ve only visited the ski resort-themed park, but I can’t wait to experience the shipwrecked vibe of Typhoon Lagoon, especially to ride Miss Adventure Falls. In case you couldn't tell, I’m a sucker for anything tied to the S.E.A., and that attraction delivers! As you make your way through the ride, keep an eye out for details from the adventures of Captain Mary Oceaneer that I mentioned earlier, including her loyal parrot, Duncan, and the treasures they collected along the way.
Karen, enjoy your summer visit to the resort. If you have any other questions, feel free to
send them my way! Wishing you a trip filled with discovery, a little adventure, and maybe even a story or two worthy of the S.E.A.
Exploratio continua,
Matt
