Hiya, Jess! Thank you for visiting us at planDisney!
I see that you are planning a vacation to The Most Magical Place On Earth in the early fall. What a perfect time to visit! Whether you plan on attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or want to check out the fall decorations during the cooler temperatures and lower crowds, you will have a fantastic stay at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Jess, I am happy to inform you that 3-day and 4-day Theme Park Tickets are available to purchase now, all the way through October 2025! If you head to the Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets site, you will see two Special Offers: a 4-Park Magic Ticket and a 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket. These current promotions are only valid through September 22, 2024, and September 24, 2024. For non-promotional Theme Park Tickets, you will want to scroll past those offers and select the standard date-based ticket. On the following page, you can choose either 3-day or 4-day tickets and the date you would like to start your ticket on the calendar. As you will see when selecting the start date, you will be given a window of time to use your tickets. For a 3-day ticket, you can visit the parks three times over five days. And with a 4-day ticket, you have seven days to visit four times. This window of use is a great way to remain flexible while vacationing, so you can take breaks from the parks to relax by your Disney Resorts Collection pool or change your plans due to incoming weather.
Your decisions aren’t complete after picking between visiting for three and four days, Jess. You also will have to choose from the four types of tickets:
- 1 Park Per Day: Visit one theme park each day of your ticket.
- Water Park and Sports Option: Visit one theme park per day plus a certain number of visits to a water park or other Disney World fun.
- Park Hopper Option: Visit multiple theme parks each day.
- Park Hopper Option Plus: You can visit multiple theme parks each day of your ticket,, plus a certain number of visits to a water park or other Disney World fun.
My family prefers the Park Hopper Option for the added flexibility of visiting multiple parks in one day and hopping from one park to another based on what rides or attractions we want to experience, dining reservations, the fireworks show we want to see, or even crowd levels.
I hope this answers your question, Jess. Let me know if you would like help planning your days at the parks. I will happily explain how the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lighting Lane Single Pass work, which table service or quick service restaurants you shouldn’t miss, and even which Disney Resort best fits your family if you haven’t made that decision yet. Submit me another question, and I will get back to you!
See you real soon,
Brent
