Hiya, Shirley, and welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! It looks like you're in the beginning stages of planning your most magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. I am more than happy to help you get this party started!
I love a good back-up plan, and it seems that you do, too, Shirley. Purchasing a theme park ticket with a
Park Hopper option is a fantastic idea! And I have great news: You absolutely do not have to park hop to another theme park if you choose not to do so when you're there. For example, I have an Annual Pass, which includes a Park Hopper option, and I probably park hop once every two months or so. So, Hakuna Matata! I promise that Mickey Mouse and his pals won't tell you to go away. Take your time to fall in love with the park you're in!
Keep in mind that you need to
make theme park reservations for the theme parks you're starting each day at. And if you change your mind about your "starting parks," feel free to modify these selections in your
My Disney Experience account.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you plan on staying on property, consider taking a midday break at your
Resort hotel to recharge your batteries. This is a great time to do the Park Hopper switcheroo. Perhaps start your day at
EPCOT, take a break, and then benefit from the Park Hopper option by exploring another theme park like
Magic Kingdom Park to end the day with an unforgettable fireworks display!
If you have any further questions, my crew here at planDisney would love to help.
We're all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
