How big can the luggage be per person, Not carry on bag?

    Ahoy there, Cynthia!

Thanks for sailing by planDisney! You must be excited that you are in the final countdown leading up to your Disney Cruise Line vacation. I hope you have downloaded the Disney Navigator App so you can see your countdown in real time! The Navigator app is also your portal for all your pre-cruise planning, making payments, booking your activities and even checking in for your cruise if you haven’t done so already. With even more features while onboard, the app will unlock all the magic your Disney Cruise has in store!

Cynthia, it sounds like you are getting your cruise packing list sorted out. I’m happy to let you know that each Guest may board with a reasonable amount of clothing and personal effects, not to exceed two checked bags per person. These checked bags do not have to comply with specific dimensions.

Now, each Guest is allowed one carry-on (measuring no greater than 14 inches wide, 9 inches deep and 22 inches in height in order to fit in the security scanning at the port) as well as one personal bag. I recommend that you place anything you may need as soon as you board the ship in your carry-on bag. I always include the basics like sunscreen and a water bottle, but also remember to pack any medications, valuables, and your cruise documents and identification in your carry-on.

Make sure you save a little room in your suitcase for the souvenirs you are sure to bring home some of the specially-designed Disney Cruise Line merchandise from Mickey’s Mainsail

We would love to see you cruise back by planDisney with any questions you may have!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
