Hello, if I purchase the Canadian resident 5 day park ticket (7 days), and select April 22/24 but then end up needing to change the date by a week or even a couple of months, is this able to be done?

    Hi Melanie,

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I'm happy to help!

The latest Canadian Resident ticket offer is a great way to save on your next Walt Disney World Resort trip. The current offer is eligible for visits between January 11 and September 28, 2024, but the usage period will depend on the specific number of admission days you purchase. If you opt for a 7-day ticket, those tickets will expire 10 days after your selected start date, or the offer end date of September 28, whichever comes first. If you select April 22 as a start date, you'll need to use all admission days by May 1, 2024.

You won't be able to extend the expiration date once you start using your tickets, but you should be able to modify your travel dates to another time within the usage period by visiting the "My Plans" page online before you use the first day of admission. Keep in mind you'll need to show proof of Canadian residency before first use and that admission is based on capacity and other restrictions. You can also reach out to a Cast Member by phone or email for additional assistance, or with additional questions before you complete your ticket purchase.

There's plenty of excitement in store for guests in 2024, so you're sure to enjoy a magical vacation whenever you decide to visit. I'm excited about the new food and beverage offerings recently announced for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts and can't wait to enjoy the brand-new fireworks spectacular there when I visit in a few weeks. I know there'll be even more magic awaiting me when I visit again this summer!

Melanie, if you need help planning your itinerary for your next trip please come back and let us know. We're always glad to share our dining and resort recommendations and help you come up with a game plan to enjoy the many thrilling attractions across the parks.

    Wishing you a magical year,
