Hi there, Amy! Before every trip, I always get texts from family and friends, asking for sweet treats from The Most Magical Place on Earth. By far, the most popular request is the caramel apples from the
Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom Park. The delicious sweet smells are the first thing you'll notice as you walk down Main Street, U.S.A. No wonder I'm the most popular girl in town when I get back!
Although I usually end up lugging my confections through security and onto the airplane, I think you're a smart cookie!
Many merchandise locations at Walt Disney World Resort can ship your Park purchases to your home via UPS or FedEx for an additional fee. I suspect there might be some exceptions to this policy regarding edible items, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
If you are unable to mail them from the store, then I have another recommendation. There are
Business Centers, operated by the third party firm Ricoh, at the convention centers located at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort,
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Disney's Boardwalk Inn, and
Disney's Yacht Club Resort. You can use the services at the Business Centers regardless if you are a registered guest or not. They charge a shipping and handling fee, and they also sell plenty of supplies like boxes, packing materials, and tape to make sure your items arrive safe and sound. Also, if you have your own shipping materials with you, then simply drop off your pre-packed, pre-labeled package at the Front Desk or Concierge Desk of any Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and they will ship it home. Easy peasy!
My motto is: You only live once, so get all the treats. Good luck getting your goodies home, Amy!
