Hi Greg!
Welcome to planDisney! I am a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, and for me, it has been a great value. Normally, I would be extolling all the wonderful and magical reasons you should become a Passholder too. Unfortunately, the sales of new Walt Disney World Annual Passes are still on pause.
Current Passholders may renew their passes, which is probably why you can view pricing. Additionally, Passholder families who have a child turning 3 years old may purchase an Annual Pass for that child so that they may accompany their family into the theme parks.
Annual Passholders who had their pass expire during the park shutdown, or who canceled it at that time, may apply for review to possibly be allowed to purchase a new Annual Pass. If you fall into this category you would need to
call Ticketing to submit a request. Each case is reviewed on a case-by-case basis and it takes several weeks to receive an answer.
Mickey is a pretty good secret keeper, and unfortunately, he isn’t saying when new sales of Walt Disney World Annual Passes will resume. I would stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog as this is the first place where reopening announcements are made.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions, Greg. I’m hoping new Walt Disney World Annual Passes make a comeback soon too!
