    When I purchase Annual pass tickets will i get magic bands as well or do i have to purchase magic bands seperate?

    Hi, Amarilis! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for bringing your question to us. I am glad to hEAR you are thinking of becoming a member of the Annual Passholder family. Seriously, renewing my Annual Pass is an easy decision each year when I consider the magic and joy it brings to my family. There are so many amazing benefits that come along with it, like discounts on Disney Resort Hotel rooms, special event tickets, merchandise, dining, activities, and so much more! I personally appreciate that it provides us with access to all of our Disney PhotoPass pictures taken during that year. We usually take several hundred during each trip, so I like being able to download them all instead of narrowing it down to just a few.

    Along with all of these benefits, you will also be able to customize a MagicBand once your Annual Pass is activated. If you purchase your pass online, then it will just be a "voucher" at that point. You will need to stop by any theme park ticket window or either the Guest Relations or Disney Ticket Center in Disney Springs to officially activate the Annual Pass. Once it is active, then you are welcome to go to the My MagicBands and Cards section of My Disney Experience, where you will find a MagicBand order waiting for you. It will be shipped out to you shortly, so keep an eye on a notification either through email or right within your My Disney Experience account.

    When your MagicBand order arrives, be sure to look through the package for any special additions related to your Annual Passholder membership. Thanks again for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you have any others!

I enjoy giving advice about itinerary and FastPass+ planning, Epcot's fantastic festivals, Memory Maker, and transportation at the Resort.
