Hi Sean,
I'm happy to welcome you to planDisney and soon enough welcome you to the
Annual Passholder family. I just renewed my Disney Sorcerer Pass for another year of magic and can't wait to get my next trip underway. From
discounts on select dining, merchandise and experiences to Passholder perks like V.I.Passholder days, a new AP lounge, and adorable
character magnets, there are so many great reasons to purchase a pass of your own.
It sounds like you've already discovered some of the current
Annual Pass resort discounts available, and I can't blame you for wanting to take advantage of them as soon as possible. Once you've made your purchase and your pass is linked to your
My Disney Experience Account, you should have no trouble applying these promotions. Just be sure you're signed in when booking your next resort stay and you should have access to the appropriate discounts. If you have any trouble you can contact a Cast Member by phone for assistance.
I do want to point out that your pass must be activated prior to your resort stay. You can do this on your arrival date at theme park entrance ticket windows, at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, or by scanning in at the tapstiles for the first time. As an out-of-state Sorcerer Passholder, I needed to have a Cast Member verify my Disney Vacation Club membership to activate my pass. If your pass requires residency or Disney Vacation Club status verification, be sure to have the appropriate information available.
If you do not activate your pass before completing your online check-in or checking in with a Cast Member at your resort's
Front Desk, the promotional room rate will no longer apply. However, once your pass is activated you can use
Direct-to-Room Service for subsequent Annual Pass discounted stays.
I hope this helped, Sean. If we can answer any additional questions please don't hesitate to come back and see us again. We're always happy to help!
Magic and memories,
Amy
