Hi Nicholas! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Are you so excited for your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth? I sure hope so.
I had this same scenario a few years ago when I purchased my first Annual Pass. In order to get a Passholder Resort discount for your upcoming trip you would need to purchase your
Annual Pass online. Once it is purchased you can link your confirmation number to your
My Disney Experience account. After the Annual Pass confirmation is linked you will be able to view and book Passholder rates at the Disney Resorts. You would not be able to book the rate and buy your Annual Pass when you arrive. There must be an active or purchased Annual Pass in your account at the time of Resort booking. Nicholas, please note that even though you may purchase your Annual Pass today, your first day of use would not be until you activate it at a Guest Relations window. For example if you purchased today and did not arrive at a park until a month from now, your Annual Pass would be valid for a whole year starting the day you arrive and activate.
I hope this has helped. If you have any other questions feel free to stop by again. Oh and don't forget to use all the fantastic discounts and perks you get for becoming an Annual Passholder, including free Disney PhotoPass downloads, and parking. Oh and the best one 20% discounts on select merchandise and restaurants. It's so AWESOME.
Dream as Dreamers Do,
Jen
