Hello, Nina! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for coming to us with your fantastic questions about
Lightning Lanes. I love talking about all the ways to zip past standby lines on popular Disneyland attractions! Let's go!
If you haven't booked your theme park tickets yet, Nina, I recommend including
Lightning Lane Multi Pass with your park tickets at the time of purchase. This will lock in the lowest rate and ensure that you won't have to worry about purchasing the passes upon entering the parks.
Once you have purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and have entered the park, you'll be able to use the Tip Board in the
Disneyland app to choose a Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction and book the next available time to ride it. Make a reservation for one attraction at a time or after two hours have passed, whichever comes first.
As for the brand-new
Lightning Lane Premier Pass, the exclusive service that allows you a one-time entry on every Lightning Lane attraction whenever you want without booking a specific time, can be purchased via the Disneyland app up to two days in advance of your park visit, starting at 7am PST. These are subject to very limited quantities so if you have your heart set on Lightning Lane Premier Pass, I suggest purchasing as soon as that booking window opens.
And last, but certainly not least, if you're interested in purchasing a
Lightning Lane Single Pass for Radiator Springs Racers in California Adventure and/or Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland Park, these are only available to purchase on the day of your visit in the Disneyland app.
I hope you have the most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, Nina! If you think of anything else to chat about, like maybe some strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities, stop on by with another question!
Warmest wishes,
McCayla
