We're so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cassie! Traveling while you're still breastfeeding your baby offers its own set of challenges. I remember having to hide away in the back of my minivan, just so that I could find a quiet place to pump in privacy. Luckily, with a Baby Care Center in every Disney Park, both breastfeeding and pumping at Walt Disney World Resort is every mom's dream come true!
The
Baby Care Centers have pristine changing stations, feeding areas with highchairs, and basic baby care items like baby food and diapers. Above all, however, they have a nursing room with outlets and rocking chairs for moms to breastfeed or pump comfortably. It's also a wonderful place to take a break from all the hustle and bustle of the Parks. You'll find them in the following locations:
*
Magic Kingdom Park, between Casey's Corner and The Crystal Palace
*
Epcot, between the Odyssey Center and the Mexico Pavilion
*
Disney's Hollywood Studios, connected to Guest Services at the Park's Main Entrance
*
Disney's Animal Kingdom, right past Creature Comforts before the bridge to Africa
I spoke with a Cast Member, and they said that unfortunately, they are unable to store breast milk at the Parks. If you bring a small cooler with you, then you can stop by any
Quick Service dining location to get fresh ice to keep your milk cold all day (pack a few Ziplock bags with you, too). Also, if you don't want to carry your pump around with you, consider storing it in a
rented locker located near the front of each Park.
We love helping Disney moms, Cassie! If there's anything else you need before your trip, remember we're all ears!
