Hi Carlo!
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!
First things first…I’m happy to let you know that
children under 3 will not need a park ticket. So, you won’t have to worry about purchasing a ticket for your 1.5-year-old.
Now, let’s chat about the adult tickets. Depending on when you plan to visit Disney World and which theme parks you want to go to, I highly recommend checking out the
current special offers. There are some great deals this summer that can save you a lot of money on park tickets!
If the special offers won’t work for the dates you’re considering, you can always
purchase standard park tickets. You’ll have four options in that case.
Standard 3-Day Date-Based Ticket: This ticket type allows you to enter one theme park per day.
3-Day Water Park and Sports Option: You will be able to enter one theme park per day plus enjoy 3 visits to an extra experience listed on the ticket type. These extra experiences include things like going to a water park or playing a round of golf or mini golf.
3-Day
Park Hopper Option: You can visit multiple theme parks per day. This would be a great option if you’re hoping to go to all 4 theme parks even though you’ll only have 3 park days.
3-Day Park Hopper Plus Option: Finally, this ticket type allows you to visit multiple theme parks per day plus 3 visits to an extra experience just like the water park and sports option we talked about earlier.
No matter which ticket type you purchase, make sure to read the details of the ticket, so you know exactly what it entails.
As you’re purchasing your date-based tickets, it’s good to note that the price may change based on the start date of your ticket. I always like to look at all of my options that work with my vacation dates to see if I can get a little better value out of my tickets.
I hope that starts you off on the right foot to find the tickets that will work best for your family. As you continue to plan, feel free to bring any other questions you have to planDisney! We’re always happy to help!
